Chef Kendric Private Services Policy
1. Booking & Reservation
Events must be booked at least 14 days in advance to ensure availability.
A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost are required to reserve your event date.
Final guest count, menu selections, and event details must be confirmed no later than 7 days before the event.
2. Payments
The remaining balance is due in full 7 days prior to the event date.
We accept payments via cash, credit/debit card, and business checks. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card transactions.
Late or incomplete payment may result in cancellation of services.
3. Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Cancellations made more than 10 days before the event may be eligible for a partial refund (excluding the deposit).
Cancellations within 10 days of the event are non-refundable in full.
In cases of emergency or force majeure, we will work with you to reschedule the event where possible.
4. Staffing & Setup
Staffing (chefs, servers, bussers) must be requested in advance and is billed separately.
Setup and breakdown time is included in the service quote. Additional fees may apply for extended service times.
Service styles available: buffet, plated, family-style, or drop-off. Final selection must be confirmed at the time of booking.
5. Travel & Delivery
Travel fees apply for events held outside a 25-mile radius of our base location.
Events 50+ miles away may incur additional travel or lodging charges.
All food is transported using proper temperature-controlled equipment for safety and freshness.
6. Rentals & Equipment
Rental items (tables, linens, dinnerware, etc.) are available upon request at an additional charge.
The client is responsible for any damage, loss, or replacement of rented items.
7. Food Safety & Allergies
All food is prepared in a licensed and inspected commercial kitchen following strict health and safety standards.
Chef Kendric Private Services is not an allergen-free facility. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions upon booking.
Leftovers can be packaged at the client’s request. We are not liable for food safety after the event concludes.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure the venue is accessible for setup and breakdown, including parking and unloading areas.
Delays caused by venue access or client coordination may result in additional charges.
9. Marketing Use
We reserve the right to photograph food and setup for promotional use unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
